Meet The Director
Brenda Gutierrez - Executive Director of Foundation
Brenda received both her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts from K-State Manhattan. With experience in non-profit and for-profit settings, she draws on marketing, public relations, fundraising and development, and collaboration skills at Salina Tech. The goals at Salina Area Technical College are to grow the Foundation’s financial resources to support more scholarships, build endowments for the future and expand the college’s infrastructure.
Having lived in rural Saline County for over 30 years, Brenda and her husband Michael are active volunteers and board members for local and state community and service organizations. Valuing family and farming, she spends weekends helping on the family farm near Downs, Kansas.
